Photon plays compositions of keyboardist Jimmy Dunstan, augmented by the rhythm section of Dan Africano on Bass and Neal Evans on Drums. Blending sounds reminiscent of The New Deal, Medeski Martin and Wood, and Tycho, Photon will take you on a contemplative dance journey. Be ready for a night of infectious house beats and virtuosic instrumental story-telling. Bass duties will be performed by Felix Pastorius.
Felix Pastorius, the son of Jaco Pastorius has worked hard and achieved his own voice on the electric bass. Felix continues to write and release his own Music Theory books. He is the bassist for his bands Hipster Assassins and Social Experiment; and tours with Cindy Blackman Santana and Jeff Coffin’s Mutet; and has worked with the Yellowjackets, A$AP Rocky, Onyx Collective, etc.
